‘The atmosphere is misty, we can hardly find our way through the fog’. As the Uganda cranes remain in awe of the tweaking law of modern generation, ’survival for the fitest’ or the little the poor has shall also be taken away from him, said Jesus.
We had just broken into the world scene of football through outstanding performances and technical approaches that left our opponents in surprise, but someone somewhere thought our engine was too good for an old never used car, so a replacement/removal would be doing an old car (cranes) a favour. Wait a minute, did someone ever think we would have Czaba for four years?, not in this market, one village world.
As the saying of the Fog, let us look no far but have confidence in our very own ugandan coaches who are acheivers, dynamic, technical, focused and most of all brimed with the love for the game and nation not money and self exhaltation.
I may be too young to be confident of the past events before me, but i shall not shy away to say Kasim a.k.a Baghdad would be my best candidate. mention all the other qualities of a good coach and i will say, take my vote if at all you have a revolutionised mind of building a team that combines the winning of trophies with the desire for national pride.
Baghdad is a purist, dedicated and having collective and individual technical qualities to acheive what all ugandans want in the national team, Cranes- Trophies and national Pride.
Thanx
